Good maps guru maps pro works well

Posted by Unknown on Sep 21st 2021

Maps were good, guru maps pro application worked well in figuring out general trails. However install instructions need update and turn by turn maps did not work at all for me. I am not sure if guru maps pro came out with a new version and instructions need update but when trying to use the navigation option fir turn by turn there is no atv functionality .

    Best GPS maps out there

Posted by Matt Gamache on Sep 11th 2021

Have been using the gps Trailmasters maps for 7 years now and absolutely love them. I ride all over NH and Maine and only a few times have I come to changes/reroute that wasn't on the map. With a little common sense you can figure out what is going on, whether you can continue or just turn around. Makes riding in new areas so much easier to explore. Still support the local club's by volunteering, donating money and your time, but riding with gps just saves so much time at each intersection on which way to go vs a paper map. Plus, customer service is top notch. Doug has always helped me with any issues that ive had, that gets 5 stars as well! Don't hesitate to purchase these maps, worth every penny.

    What happened

Posted by Nick on Aug 26th 2021

Been using your product with my riding group for many seasons now!! I bought the maine atv trail map for this year... come to find out none of the locations would pop up, all of my friends had the same problem so we uninstalled and reinstalled last years maps. Not to mention how many wrong trails marked on the map there were. All in all it’s a good way to gauge the trails but definitely don’t depend on this to be 100% accurate

    Not worth the money

Posted by Unknown on Oct 9th 2020

Was hoping to have a better map system. Found it to be okay for giving an idea of where you wanna go but doesn’t help when you come out to a road crossing and you can’t tell if you need to go right or left.... was hoping for the money it would do more.

Good to track where you are

Posted by CJ on Sep 22nd 2020

I found that this app was most useful to track my whereabouts in areas without cell reception. Many of the trails that I saw in the app were not actually available to ride. You'd be better off just getting a current paper map from a local shop when you get to town and following the signs. All the trails are very well marked. Pro-tip you can save money by downloading sections of Google Maps to your phone for free and you use those maps and track your whereabouts on there even when offline.

    Pay attention to the signs...

Posted by John on Aug 31st 2020

The maps were not as accurate as I had hoped. I have purchased a book from a different source and the amount inconsistency between both is frustrating. Meaning both the book and the digital GPS maps have in accurate trail information. A large portion of trails shown on the GPS in the northern end of Phillips Maine are closed trails. Just be sure to watch for trail signs to ensure you are on trail and not private property.
