    Great Piece of Mind

Maps are great, but to know exactly where you are on the trail and have POI's is awesome.

Purchased this last year - I do not lead my group but I always refer to GPS while I travel for my info - if we get lost I am confident I could get group back with my GPS - I have learned to run this GPS with the expert advise from Doug - he gets me through my issue and does it promptly - Thanks Doug for your support - Love using this and wouldn't be without it.

A must have for outdoor motorsports recreationalists!

Posted by Andrew Boyea Jr on Mar 2nd 2015

Can't tell you how many times I am glad I had the maps loaded on my Garmin! So many times I come to intersections and the signage says 1 thing but the Garmin says another and thank God I had the Garmin because someone messed with the signs on the trails! If you like to explore new areas and get out of the "norm" than this is a must have!

New England map thoughts after a year of use

Posted by Ernie on Feb 8th 2015

For the guy who just heads to the bar and back on his snowmobile - don't bother. You already know the way. For people who put some miles on and go new places this map is great. I used to scan club maps and overlay them to my GPS. Then I had to find gas stations on the trail. Many hours of work. Now I just buy a map subscription and it's done. I have trails on my GPS and they are updated all the time. I found a missing section of trail and sent in my trac log to Doug. Next release he fixed it. From my email exchanges with Doug I believe he works very hard to make the GPS Trailmasters map as accurate as possible. I hope to subscribe to the New England map for many years to come. Thank You GPS Trailmasters.

Follow up to my First Review Titled - Great Supplement to Trail Signage

Posted by CapeCodMike on Feb 2nd 2015

Just returned from Reciprocal weekend in Rangeley. Spent two days riding with a group of 12. Before I arrived in Rangeley I worked with Doug on building a couple of Routes (pre determined trails that you are going to ride). Doug took the time to walk thru building a route in Garmin Basecamp in conjunction with the Trailmaster software. I have to tell you it really worked perfectly. The routes were saved to my garmin handheld. As we were leaving the Rangeley Inn in the morning I selected the day's route and once we got on the trail, it matched up perfectly. At every intersection the garmin was spot on with the directions. I can tell you having never ridden out of Rangeley and leading a group of 12 riders it was nice know exactly where I was going. While I had map(s) as backups, I never needed to pull them out. Route building is easy enough to learn. Once you get it, it really makes the actual ride in unfamiliar territory very enjoyable. Great Product and even better support. Thank you and keep it up.

Don't want to head out on the trail without it!

Posted by steve on Oct 22nd 2014

A great asset to have when out exploring the unknown trails, but at the same time it is a convenience item even when going out on some familiar trails. Fantastic when the sun starts going down, a quick glance at the gps reassures you to head in the proper direction. Great for finding food and gas.Put in your destination and brings you right to it.Fantastic, highly recommend it.
