Montana 600 ATV Trail Map Demo (07:11)
ATV trail maps from GPS Trailmasters will install to your Garmin GPS and overlay your existing base maps. Although this demo is for the Garmin Montana 600, our maps are compatible with almost all Garmin GPS devices. Your Garmin GPS provides the turn-by-turn routing software so that feature must be included with your GPS. Other consideration for the Garmin you choose is the screen size, battery life, ability to hard wire to your snowmobile, ATV, dirt bike or OHRV. The outdoor hand held units are typically ruggedized and waterproof. The automotive units are more susceptible to the elements but have larger screens and cost less money. The ATV trail map can be downloaded instantly to your GPS internal memory, your own SD card or it can be shipped to you already installed on an SD card. Trails are color-coded to identify what type of OHRV is allowed on the trail. Unique line styles are used to identify access roads - paved roads usually within city limits that are used for ATV access to gas, food, lodging, parking, etc. And of course, you can find hundreds of POIs on our maps for these services. Auto route with turn-by-turn directions to your destination. See your position on the map as you ride the trail. See your track behind you as you ride. Save your tracks for later use or submit to GPS Trailmasters to be added to the map. http://www.gpstrailmasters.com

  1. Okay but not 3 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 26th 2021

OK product, however be aware when trails are discontinued this product does not update, and remove the old trail. You must still read the signs to get accurate trails. Some of the tracks on these maps have been discontinued for 10 years, yet they still show as active.

  2. Good product when on unfamiliar trails 4 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 24th 2021

Recently purchased and super pleased. I can actually plan a ride and see the trails. A few times not accurate, riders need to forward their actual legal ride for updating. Myself included! Great for confidence when in new territory.

  3. Great Mapping Option 5 Star Review

Posted by on May 17th 2021

The maps are great and updated regularly. I use them on my Garmin Montana unit on my bike and they are a great reference for the trails here in Maine. Also do your part and save any tracks on your GPS that may not be on the maps and submit them to help the rest of us and get some free updates! Thanks for the hard work on these!

  4. No more stopping at every intersection to read a paper map! 5 Star Review

Posted by on May 5th 2021

We've been using gpstrailmaster mapping for 5 years now. No more contacting every club, to get the latest paper maps and digging them out at every intersection. We run ours in a Montana 610 with a hard wired mount on every sled, atv, utv. Sometimes I create routes ahead of time, but mostly tap a destination and hit go for turn by turn directions. Large lists of resteraunts, gas stations, etc. Fundimentaly changed the way we ride for the better!

  5. Works great 5 Star Review

Easy to use very happy so far

  6. A must have 4 Star Review

Posted by on Aug 23rd 2020

Works great for the trails listed and properly updated, have had a few times now where i drove a good ways and had to backtrack because the trail was no longer there and had not been for quite a while. I have it on both a Garmin gps and on my phone With guru maps and it works great on both. My only complaint is the non existent trails, still its a great product and for me a must have to enjoy all the trails in Maine.

  7. Got us out of a jam! 4 Star Review

Posted by on Jul 23rd 2020

It is pretty accurate for the trails it has on it. Was riding in the Greenville area and kept coming on closed trails everywhere we turned coming off Moose Mt. It showed one small trail to get us back on Shirley Tote Rd too go back too Abbot that saved the day and we didn't have to back track an hour and a half. I bought the chip to put in my Garmin. Not being familiar with the area it was helpful to also have a paper map.

  8. No up to date on open/closed trails. 2 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 29th 2020

I’m very disappointed. On my very first ride using this, it led me right to a trail that has been closed for years. The paper trail map I had as a backup was accurate, but the electronic map wasn’t. Now I don’t trust it at all for going to new areas. I wasted my $40.
GPS Trailmasters: Sorry to hear you found a closed trail. Report it to us and we will remove it. We have a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

  9. Great trail maping system 4 Star Review

Posted by on Sep 16th 2019

I upgraded my older version of Maine ATV trail to the X version. I loved to older version and hope to have as good a luck with the X version.
The only issue with the old version as well as the X is that to old discontinued trails don't get removed. I know that some trail have been closed for years but still show up as existing.

  10. A necessity for riding Maine's trails if you're a novice 4 Star Review

Posted by on Aug 17th 2019

Cell phone service is sketchy and maps never come up on the phone, this is great for your Garmin GPS if you plan to drive any of the trails.
