As We Say In New England, “Wicked Easy To Use"

Posted by Bill Mallia on Feb 19th 2021

If you can use the GPS in your car/truck, you can use GPS Trailmasters products, and the price leaves no post-purchase guilt. Their website has a great video on how to make magic happen with this mapping software. For ease, I ordered the SD chip too. I just slid it into my GPS SD slot, and off I went. Note that, depending on your GPS, you may need a MicroSD to SD Memory Card Adapter, but they’re only $3.95 on Amazon. In my particular case, I rent snowmobiles when we head to the North Country, so I needed something interchangeable. Therefore, all I did was take one of my retired GPS units, purchased a transferable handlebar mount ($9.95), plugged everything into a portable battery pack ($25.00), and hey, I was good to go! I always carry a map as a back-up, as is sensible, but for the same reason GPS units took over AAA Trip Tix (am I dating myself), a snowmobile GPS should be part of every rider’s kit.

    Very helpful but not perfect

Posted by Unknown on Jan 30th 2021

Second time out using these on my gps and the trail deviated quite a bit. Great as a preliminary resource but be sure to pay attention to where you’re headed as theres room for error. Otherwise they’re very user friendly and I highly recommend them

    Best NH Trail Maps...Bar None!

Posted by Jon Bilski on Jan 1st 2021

This will be my third third year using a Garmin device with NH Snowmobile X Package loaded. This is the most comprehensive most up to date map information there is! I wouldn’t go without it, but as always, carry paper maps and support your local clubs! You never know when your electronics could up and quit on you!

Great Mapping both Canada and New England

    Posted by K.E. on Mar 10th 2019

Doug has GPS mapping here. Seen some people post hard to use. I had a few questions and Doug answered them so I understood them. had GPS Trailmasters for 3-4 years now. This has made for many stress free days of riding(knowing where fuel is / how far away. Most important part of snowmobiling, knowing where your next stop is and if like to take a detour GPS is still looking out for you. Best thing I did was put every address I know into my gps (motels, fuel, food, repair shops, friends, places important to remember because when you have No Cell Service and something has come up it sure is nice to look at your address book on your GPS and touch go there. Information at your hands like this could save your life or somebody you know or don't know. My GPS is with me at all times now snowmobiling or Motorcycling. Talk to Doug, He will Not steer you in the wrong direction. Hope this review helps someone out. Have Fun!

    Confidence in Trail Riding

Posted by Jonathan on Mar 2nd 2019

This is a must have for all snowmobiles. Picked up a new Garvin Nuvi 67LM for $30.00. Add the $35.00 NH map and your only into it for $65.00. Oh, don't forget the 2 years of free updates with the Garmin X package....Wow! Try to buy all the club maps, which are never up to date, and see how much that costs, not to mention having to stop every 10 minutes to figure out where your going with paper maps. Good Backup, but seeing where you are and where your going realtime is amazing, not to mention the garmin plotting the route to food, gas, or other. This Product, The NH Garmin X Package, Really rates 10 out of 5 stars!!!

    Snowmobile with confidence!

Posted by Michael on Mar 5th 2018

Purchased NH snowmobile maps primarily for trip to Pittsburg. We've been going for 4 years, but we're always tentative to go to far from the cabin. This year with Trailmaster maps on a Garmin Montana, we went everywhere we wanted with total confidence with our 3 and 7 year old children in tow. The maps and GPS transformed our trip and eliminated all the pressure of getting lost. We'll be buying the atv maps this spring. Basecamp function on the Garmin worked very well. Even if you knowledge of the GPS is limited, the tracks, map, and way points will always get you back. Add in a Garmin InReach Satellite communicator and you're ready for any situation.
